Starting from 2025, all new HKU staff members are required to attend induction training that includes a dedicated Sustainability Session. This session introduces:

• HKU’s environmental performances 

• Key green facilities initiatives implemented across campus 

• Staff engagement opportunities

The aim is to ensure every new staff member understands HKU’s sustainability commitments and how they can contribute to a more environmentally responsible campus.
